Solution

To find a number from a given percentage of it, divide the given value by the percentage expressed as a fraction: x⋅0,5=36x \cdot 0{,}5 = 36, so x=36:0,5=72x = 36 : 0{,}5 = 72. Check: half of 7272 is 3636.
