WORKED EXAMPLE

Solution

Correct answers: 50⋅0,84=4250 \cdot 0{,}84 = 42, so the incorrect answers are 50−42=850 - 42 = 8. A short way: the share of the incorrect answers is 100%−84%=16%100\% - 84\% = 16\%, that is, 50⋅0,16=850 \cdot 0{,}16 = 8.
