Which of the following numbers is divisible by 44?

Solution

For a number to be divisible by 44, the number formed by its last two digits must be divisible by 44. The last two digits of 51165116 form 16=4⋅416 = 4 \cdot 4, so 51165116 is divisible by 44. The last two digits of the remaining numbers form 1818, 3434, 2626, and 3030 — none of these is divisible by 44.
